Butterfly Effect: Revelation is a 2009 science fiction/horror film that has been released in early 2009. Directed by Seth Grossman, it is the sequel to the 2006 film Butterfly Effect 2. This is also the third film in The Butterfly Effect franchise. Chris Carmack has been signed on to play the main character, Sam Reed.[2] Rachel Miner (The Black Dahlia; Penny Dreadful), Sonya A. Avakian, and Melissa Jones (aka Mistress Malice, winner of Miss Horrorfest 2007)[3] have also been announced as part of the cast. PLOT: The story revolves around a man trying to uncover the mysterious death of his girlfriend and save an innocent man from the death chamber in the process, by using his unique power to time travel. However in attempting to do this, he also frees a spiteful serial-killer.
