My Soul To Take is an upcoming 3D American horror film written and directed by Wes Craven.The film is the first film since Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994) that he will both write and direct.

As legend has it, a serial killer will return to the quaint town of Riverton to murder the seven children that were born the night he allegedly died. Sixteen years after his death, members of the community begin to disappear. All the teens know the Reaper to be dead, but they hold the belief that his soul may have reincarnated into one of their bodies, forcing them to discover who among them may be the killer.

Production of the film began in April 2008 aiming for an October 2009 release,[1] but is expected for a 2010 release. Craven describes the killer in March 2009 as "a figure who lives under the river" eats bark and lives in the woods since his alleged death. The film is produced by Anthony Katagas and first time producer Iya Labunka, Craven's wife. The film was converted to 3-D

Happy Feet 2 (also known as Happy Feet 2 in 3D) is an upcoming feature film directed by George Miller the co-director of the original film, Happy Feet. The film is being produced by Animal Logic Films in Santa Monica, California, United States and Dr. D Studios in Sydney, Australia. The only other official announcement regarding the film is that actors Elijah Wood and Robin Williams are to reprise their previous roles of the characters Mumble, Ramon, and Lovelace. Other actors confirmed to reprise their roles are Carlos Alazraqui, Johnny A. Sanchez, Lombardo Boyar and Jeffrey Garcia as Nestor, Lombardo, Raul, and Rinaldo respectively. It is currently unknown if the cast includes any of the other characters from the first film or who will voice them if they do. Actors Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman who together played Mumbles' parents Memphis and Norma Jean have yet to confirm any involvement with the film.

Brittany Murphy, the original voice actress of Mumbles' love interest Gloria, was set to reprise her role and begin recording sometime in 2010 but she died on December 20, 2009. Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will be voicing roles in the film, and have already engaged themselves in their recording sessions. Hank Azaria will also appear in the film. Elizabeth Daily, who played young Mumble in the previous film, will play as a new character called Erik and Sofía Vergara will also appear in the movie.

That Producer Brad Simpson from the first Diary of a Wimpy Kid film, said they are ready to get started on a sequel if the first film is a success. "Our screenwriters are writing a sequel right now, Rodrick Rules, which would be based on the second book, and, you know, we hope that the people would want to see a second movie, that we are in position of going again right away and make another film. I certainly know that the fans would like to see all the books made into movies". On April 3, 2010 Fox green lit the sequel, confirming that Zachary Gordon will return as Greg Heffley with Robert Capron returning as Rowley Jefferson, and on June 24, it was revealed that David Bowers will direct. The movie will be released on March 25, 2011

Thiis movie actually looks really effing good, it looks like a B rated film, but It looks good

and it has a good cast Nikki Reed from the Twilight series is in it, Betsy Russell from the Saw series in it, Brad Douriff who plays Chucky is in it,

Chain Letter is a horror-thriller film about six friends who are stalked by a murderer who uses chains to kill them if they do not pass on the chain letter.

PLOT:

Six friends are pitched against each other when they are sent via email and text message, a chain letter, which if not passed on, sends a psycho-killer after them. Their loyalties to each other are tested when they must pass the letter to each other, or not at all, and if they break the chain, they lose a life.

Chain Letter has already been released in select theaters on August 6th 2010, but it is expected to get a worldwide release October 2010 due to good responses and great reception of the film

So basically this is a remake of the original 1988 film of the same name! and what I like about the remake is that its the same creater and writer from the original (Don Mancini who also wrote and produced all the Chucky films) and Brad Dourif has confirmed to voice Chucky again! and this one will have no Jennifer Tilly, so that is good! They have confirmed they are going back to the straight horror root with no comedy! So I am looking foward to this movie :-)

In a September 2008 interview, Don Mancini and David Kirschner spoke of a planned reboot of the franchise to be written and directed by Mancini, although nothing was official yet. They described their choice of a remake over a sequel as a response to the will of the fans, who "want to see a scary Chucky movie again," and "want to go back to the straightforward horror rather than the horror comedy." They stated that if the remake was made, they would want Brad Dourif to reprise his role as Chucky, because "no one could fit the part like he could".

In a subsequent interview, Mancini described the script as a darker and scarier retelling of the original movie, but one that, while having new twists and turns, will not stray too far from the original concept.

Not too long afterward, Brad Dourif confirmed that he will reprise his role in the remake. Besides Brad Dourif it is unknown who else is in the film.

On January 17, 2010, Horrorbid.com reported that Universal has given the green light for the remake and that pre-production has already begun. The remake is scheduled for a release sometime in 2011 or 2012.

Fan made material has been released as videos on youtube. There is a possibility of a trailer airing before Paranormal Activity 2, still not confirmed. A poster has not been released either, but numerous fan made ones are scattered on the internet. The film was confirmed to be in production and start shooting on January 17, 2010.

The Smurfs

I cant wait to watch this movie, I remember watching the cartoon when I was a little boy, I think its awesome they are bringing the Smurfs back and with Katy Perry voicing Smurfette thats going to be awesome also Neil Patrick Haris is playing the male lead, wich is also awesome cause he is a terrific actor and a very sexy! lol

PLOT:

Set in the Middle Ages, the evil wizard Gargamel (voiced by Hank Azaria) discovers the Smurf's village and chases them into some woods. The Smurfs get scattered and Clumsy Smurf (voiced by Anton Yelchin) wanders into a "forbidden" grotto and some of the other Smurfs follow. Since it's also a blue moon, a magical portal within the grotto transports them into Central Park in New York. They take shelter with a married couple (played by Neil Patrick Harris and Jayma Mays) and try to find a way back to their village before Gargamel finds them.

The film was originally to be released December 10th 2010, but it then got pushed back to July 29th 2011, and just recently it was pushed back again to August 3rd 2011, hopefully it will stay that way or come out earlier as I am really excited to watch this movie!

I am super excited about this movie, I loved the first one, and I am very looking foward to Hatchet II and also Hatchet III

Hatchet II is an upcoming horror film directed by Adam Green. It is set to be released in October of 2010. It is the direct sequel to the 2006 film, Hatchet. It will star Danielle Harris as Marybeth, a character originally portrayed by Tamara Feldman, Kane Hodder as Victor Crowley, Tony Todd as Reverend Zombie, Tom Holland as Bob and R.A. Mihailoff as Trent.

PLOT:

Hatchet II follows Marybeth as she escapes from the clutches of Victor Crowley, learns the truth about his curse, and heads back into the haunted New Orleans swamp to seek revenge for her family and kill Victor Crowley once and for all.

SEQUEL (Hatchet III):

Green confirmed on March 29, 2010 the extension of the series to two more sequels, Hatchet III is planned for a 2011 release. Green has also talked interest in a 3D sequel for Hatchet III.

Final Destination 5

Even though very little is known about the upcoming fith film in the Final Destination franchise, this is information that has been released so far:

After the success of The Final Destination, which was thought to be the last film of the franchise, the head of Warner Bros., Alan Horn, had confirmed a fifth Final Destination film is in works at ShoWest. Producer Craig Perry later added that the film will be shot in 3D. The screenplay was written by Eric Heisserer, whom New Line hopes will break the repetition of the series. The studio has picked August 26, 2011 as the release date. Steven Quale, who worked alongside James Cameron, is the director and shooting will begin on September in Vancouver, like the first three films. It has also been revealed that the opening scene is said to take place on a suspension bridge. The film is tentatively titled Final Destination 5 though some sites clain the title is 5inal Destination.

FINALLY Scream 4 is well on it`s way and is currently filming as we speak,

very little is known on what the movie is about,

But here is some released info on Scream 4,

A fourth film was announced by The Weinstein Company in July 2008, with Wes Craven saying that he wouldn't mind directing the film if the script was as good as Scream. In March 2010 it was confirmed that he would indeed direct and stated that, "I am delighted to accept Bob Weinstein's offer to take the reins on a whole new chapter in 'Scream' history. Working with Courteney, David and Neve was a blast ten years ago and I'm sure it will be again. And I can't wait to find the talent that will bring new blood to the screen as well. Kevin is right on his game with the new script – the characters and story crackle with energy and originality – to say nothing of some of the most hair-raising scares I've seen in a script since... well, since the original 'Scream' series. Let me at it". Cathy Konrad, producer of the Scream trilogy sued The Weinstein Company for allegedly "developing Scream 4 behind her back and defended the move on a false pretenses". Her company, Cat Entertainment Inc., had a first-rights deal with the Weinsteins to produce all films in the franchise but said that the Weinsteins cut her out based on the "false pretext" that her company's services were supposed to be exclusive to Scream 4. Konrad said, "[that argument] was merely a scheme to force her out of the project without payment so The Weinstein Company could produce the project on the cheap – through Scream 4 director Wes Craven's wife, no less".

Originally, the series was intended to be a trilogy, but after ten years Bob Weinstein thought it was time for another film. It is intended to be a "reboot"[1] of the series and the first of a new trilogy, with both Craven and Williamson signed on for the duration. Filming began on June 28, 2010 for a scheduled release of April 15, 2011.

I cant wait to watch Little Fockers, I loved the first two movies (Meet The Parents & Meet the Fockers) and now a new movie, I am so happy :-)

PLOT:

After marrying Pam, the daughter of a retired CIA agent, Gaylord "Greg" Focker now has five-year old twins. The film will revolve around the couple trying to cope with raising their children.
Greg begins to go through a mid-life crisis as he ponders the rest of his life as his children come into play, he also begins to worry about being a good father and obtaining a stable job earning money for his family. This leads Jack to become highly suspicious once again about what is going on with Greg. This leads to a lot of suspense between the two and eventually leads to a fight between the two characters.

I am not a huge fan of the Resident Evil movies or the games, but when Resident Evil 3: Extinction was released in 2007, I was really impressed, so I am sorta looking foward to Resident Evil 4: Afterlife, but again I dont like the whole 3D idea lol

PLOT:

Resident Evil: Afterlife picks up where the third film ended. Since the events of Resident Evil: Extinction, Alice has been roaming the world searching for any remaining survivors. Alice also comes face to face with her arch-nemesis, Albert Wesker, for the first time in the series. As she enters the ruined Los Angeles, she stumbles onto a base of Umbrella, surrounded by zombies. She then teams up with a group of survivors who had been hiding in Los Angeles since the T-virus outbreak, and helps them to free another group held-up in a prison, among them Claire's brother, Chris Redfield.

at the 2010 Comi-Con, the producers and cast members of Saw VII revelaved to the press and the fans the first 8 minutes of Saw VII, here is what was revealed to them:

As Jigsaw is getting up from the bathroom floor (from the end of Saw) revealing to Adam to be the mastermind behind all the "games", Dr. Gordon is still crawling outside in the hall to try and find help. He reaches a hot steamy pipe and uses it to cauterize his amputated foot. The film cuts to an urban shopping area where a crowd of people gather around a storefront window to find two guys, Ryan and Brad, tied to a worktable, each with a buzz saw in front of them and their lover, Dina, suspended above. As she is being lowered onto another buzz saw, each of the guys must decide either to kill the other in order to save her, or let her die, resulting in their freedom.

Meanwhile, survivors from Jigsaw's previous games gather to seek support of "self-help guru" and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen . Mark Hoffman and Jill Tuck battle over Jigsaw's legacy.

Saw VI

Saw VI is the sixth installment in the Saw franchise. The film, which began shooting on March 30, 2009, will be released in theaters on October 23, 2009.
Saw VI will be directed by Kevin Greutert, who has been the editor on all the past Saw films to date. While not much is known of the plot at this point, it has been confirmed that both Tobin Bell and Costas Mandylor will reprise their roles as John "Jigsaw" Kramer and Hoffman respectively. It also has been confirmed that Shawnee Smith is set to return for newly filmed flashback scenes as Amanda Young.
It has been reported by that Saw VI will be much more violent than previous films in the franchise. Also, the film will have traps that pit victims against each other, similar the mausoleum scene from Saw IV.
On December 8, 2008, Tanedra Howard won the 2008 VH1 Scream Queens competition hosted by Saw actress Shawnee Smith. This guarantees Howard a role in Saw VI. Lionsgate made a public statement ensuring her a leading role in the film, although her character remains undetermined as of yet. The film is set to be released on October 23, 2009, to follow the tradition of releasing each Saw film the Friday before Halloween.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is an upcoming science fiction/action film due for release on June 24, 2009. It is the sequel to 2007's Transformers, which was the first live action Transformers film. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg return respectively as director and executive producer, while Shia LaBeouf reprises the role of Sam Witwicky, the human caught in the war between Autobots and Decepticons. The film introduces many more robots and the scope has been expanded to numerous countries, the most important of which is Egypt. Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) discovers something about the origins of the Transformers and their history on Earth. The evil Decepticons need to capture him for information. The climactic battle takes place at the Giza pyramid complex, where a temple is located within. Lorenzo di Bonaventura explained the film will show the Transformers who visited Egypt before the pyramids were built, and "all our heroes end up here because of the Decepticons' master plan." Furthermore, Egyptian hieroglyphs resembling helicopters and other present day vehicles in real life will be explained in the film as being depictions of those Ancient Cybertronians who visited Earth.

[REC] 2 (or [●REC] 2) is an upcoming Spanish horror film that is a sequel to 2007's [REC]. Written and directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, both of whom returned from the previous film, the story takes place hours after the events of the first film with Filmax International describing it as having "the same claustrophobic concept" as [REC] but with "new means of transferring fear from the screen to the spectator through the recording lens." Following the success of [REC], Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza signed on for a sequel. Principal photography began on November 10, 2008 and wrapped in December 2008. The film reunites the directors with many of the original crew members of the previous film. It is currently in post-production and will roll itself in Barcelona during six weeks.

Ghostbusters III is a proposed project. Ghostbusters III Movie is Real D Cinema Digital 3-D Movie. Working Title is Ghostbusters III, Complete Title is Ghostbusters 3-D. During his interview with Mike McGuire on CISN Country 103.9 FM in Edmonton, Alberta, Dan Aykroyd announced that Ghostbusters III: Hellbent will be CGI. "I can do all the things I wanted to do for much, much less money," he stated. Aykroyd wrote the script, which was described by IGN as being "too technical", with a new team of Ghostbusters that were not clearly delineated and had no group conflict or leading personalities. Bill Murray has been thought to have held up the making of a third Ghostbusters movie, despite Aykroyd's enthusiasm, due to his preference that the movie be animated and his dislike of sequels. However, he has now signed on to make the movie now that it will be CGI. Harold Ramis is already attached. Sigourney Weaver has not expressed enthusiasm at doing another sequel.
Harold Ramis mentioned in 2005 that he wanted Ben Stiller to take Bill Murray's part in the then titled Ghostbusters in Hell. The plot was to follow the three Ghostbusters attempting to find a replacement for Bill Murray's character while dealing with ghosts rejected from hell. Aykroyd later elaborated, now that Murray is on board, that in the movie "We go to the hell side of Manhattan, downtown, Foley Square. It's all where the cops are--they are all blue minotaurs. Central Park is this huge peat mine with green demons there, surrounded by black onyx thousand-foot high apartment buildings with classic red devils, very wealthy. We go and visit a Donald Trump-like character who is Mr. Sifler. Luke Sifler. Lu-cifer. So we meet the devil inside". Jason Reitman, the son of Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, has stated that he has little interest in directing the movie. He was a guest on The Howard Stern Show on April 10, 2008; when he was asked if he would direct Ghostbusters 3 and cast Howard, he said "do you know how many times I get asked if I want to do Ghostbusters 3? Looking at my career so far, I mean if you just looked at my two films, I would make the most boring Ghostbusters movie. It would just be people talking about ghosts, there wouldn't be any ghost-busting in it." Ernie Hudson told Moviehole.net, that Ghostbusters III is still very much a possibility. He said he hoped that the new video game would generate renewed interest in a third Ghostbusters film.On September 4, 2008, Columbia Pictures signed on Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (writers for the U.S. version of The Office) to script a third film. No deals will be made with the original cast until the script is complete. The story will feature old and new Ghostbusters. Ramis had collaborated with Eisenberg and Stupnitsky on The Year One. Judd Apatow was widely rumoured to be producing the film, but this was later denied by Doug Belgrad, president of Columbia Pictures. Dan Akroyd, Harold Ramis and Ivan Reitman are consulting on the project, and Bill Murray will be involved on some level, having expressed interest in reprising his role. Akroyd expressed hope that filming would begin in late 2009.

Crank: High Voltage is the upcoming sequel to the action film, Crank. It picks up exactly where the first film left off, retaining its "real-time" feel. The film is rated R for "frenetic strong bloody violence throughout, crude and graphic sexual content, nudity, and pervasive language" by the MPAA. Crank 2 is written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who both wrote and directed the previous film, Crank. PLOT: Picking up immediately after he hits the ground at the end of Crank, Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) is kidnapped by a gang of Chinese medics. On an operating table, they attempt to harvest his organs, but after removing his heart and replacing it with an electronic temporary one, Chev wakes up and kills the medics. He then has to chase after the gang who have stolen his heart, but at the same time, shocking himself with regular jolts of electricity to keep him alive.

GayJ's Review on Friday the 13th

Ok well I went to go see the Friday the 13th remake, and I must say, I was STRONGLY dissapointed in this movie, I mean don't get me wrong, it was good, but it could of been so much better, It felt like it was Friday the 13th: Part XI: Jason Rises Again, in other words it felt like a sequel, the first 15 minutes of the film, felt like it was just telling the whole story of what happens in Parts 1, 2 and 3, then it goes to the "present day", wich there it felt like a sequel, but in the end it was a good movie, but I would only it give it 4.5 stars out of 10 stars, hopefully when the start filming the sequel this year, they make it better then they did with this film.

Night at the Museum 2

Scream 4

A fourth installment of the horror franchise has been announced and will start filming early this year and to be released for a rumored 2010. The press release described the film as "re-starting the Scream franchise," which has been regarded as indication of a new cast and the concept of further films to be produced in the future. Jamie Kennedy has since told iFMagazine that he may reprise his role as Randy Meeks in the fourth film, despite his character having previously been killed off in the second film of the trilogy. He also claimed that the rest of the cast would be a mixture of new characters with "old faces that you wouldn’t believe," and that the film will only go ahead with the involvement of director Wes Craven. In another interview, Kennedy stated that Bob Weinstein wants everyone to return, saying "Bob wants us all to return for another film... I don't know how I'd return, but he wants me back.

While SCREAM 4 is still very much in the early stages of development, we have a few exclusive facts to kick start the hype.

Fact #1: Kevin Williamson (writer of two of the SCREAM films (character credit on third)) is going to start writing a draft, although it may or may not become the shooting script (which is typical).

Fact #2: Wes Craven may or may not direct, but there is a very good possibility that he will return.

Fact #3: They are making financial offers to David Arquette, Courtney Cox Arquette and Neve Campbell to play cameos.

Fact #4: This will be a younger version of the SCREAM movies.

Halloween II

Halloween II is an 2009 sequel to Rob Zombie's Halloween, a remake of the 1978 film of the same name. Rob Zombie will return to direct the film. Filming will begin February 23, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia with Tyler Mane returning as Michael Myers.

In 2008, at the 30 Years of Terror Convention, Halloween producer Malek Akkad confirmed that a sequel to Rob Zombie's 2007 film was in the works. Akkad also stated that Tyler Mane is set to return as Michael Myers in the sequel. French filmmakers Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Muary were in negiotations to direct the sequel at the time.^[52] On December 15, 2008,Variety reported that Rob Zombie had officially signed on to write and direct the Halloween sequel. Zombie has stated that the film will start directly after the end of his remake, but will be presented through the eyes of Laurie Strode.^[53] Production will begin on February 23, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia.^[54] Zombie confirmed through his official website that Tyler Mane would be returning as Michael Myers, and Ezra Buzzington, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips and Mark Christopher Lawrence will portray new characters in the sequel.^[55] Dimension Films is planning to release the film on August 28, 2009.

Anacondas: Trail of Blood, also known as Anaconda 4, is an upcoming 2009 horror/action TV film sequel to Anaconda 3: The Offspring and the fourth film in the Anaconda film series. Written by David C. In the film, Lightning McQueen and Mater travel around the world.^[1]Cars is the second Pixar film to have a theatrical direct sequel, the first being Toy Story. The film was originally scheduled for 2012, but was brought forward a year. The movie is the first of two films to be released in 2011 for Pixar, marking the first time that more than one film for Pixar will be released in the same year.^[2]

Doc Hudson's voiceover artist Paul Newman died of lung cancer in 2008. Beforehand Lasseter was adamant Newman would return, although he had announced his retirement from acting. Afterward, Lasseter said they would "see how the story goes with Doc Hudson".^[3] George Carlin, who voiced Filmore, also died in 2008 of heart failure.
